Who We Are
Our Senior Minister
The Reverend Brad Mullis, Rector
Brad has served as Trinity’s Rector since September 2003. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Davidson College, an M.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an M.Div. from Duke University. His M.Div work included a year of study at Virginia Theological Seminary.
You can find Brad lending a hand all across church functions. With his many talents, he leads us from the pulpit, from the choir stall, from the altar, and most of all from his heart.
Brad was ordained in 1996. Prior to coming to Trinity he served at Church of the Nativity in Raleigh, NC. He is married to his wife, Ellyn, and together they have two children, Sally and Charlie.
Our Interim Organist & Choir Master
Chuck Lindler, who retired from Iredell County Health Department as an Environmental Health Specialist after 32 years of service, is a native of Statesville and a graduate of Catawba College. Trinity is fortunate to have him return this year as the interim Organist and Choir Master, a position he held at Trinity for sixteen years. In addition to his tenure at Trinity, Chuck has over the years served as organist/choirmaster in Lutheran, Catholic, and Episcopal parishes; and he is presently a supply organist for Lutheran and Episcopal churches. Chuck is married to Marcia Ervin Lindler and has two daughters and two grandchildren. When he finds the time, he loves traveling in the U.S. and abroad.
Our Parish Administrator
Clara was born in North Wilkesboro but is practically a Statesville native, having lived in the area since the age of two. She and her husband, Doug, have one daughter, Lindsay. Clara describes herself as an extrovert, as she rarely meets a stranger. She enjoys her parish admin role, as it allows her to use the forty plus years of accounting experience she acquired at her previous position as Payroll/Inventory Control Specialist for 3A Composites USA in Statesville. Clara enjoys working, Church, yard work, gardening, and walking. She also has an interest in true crime documentaries, and her favorite vacation spot is Sedona, Arizona, primarily because of the desert climate and beautiful landscape.
